01
Information we collect
This notice applies to members, candidates, employer contacts, referees, and visitors who interact with Modern Working Moms LLC (MWM), including through our website, career tools, email, and recruiting services.
- Account and contact information: name, email address, contact details you provide, sign-in identifiers, and account preferences. If you use Google sign-in, we receive account information used to identify you; you enter your Google password with Google.
- Career information: profile details, résumé uploads, work history, education, skills, credentials, location, work preferences, availability, and pay expectations.
- Recruiting information: applications, invitations, readiness and prescreen responses, MWM review notes, reference information, employer feedback, interview activity, and placement follow-ups.
- Employer information: company and contact details, hiring requests, role requirements, compensation information, and candidate-review responses.
- Tool and communication content: coaching conversations, interview-practice answers and feedback, generated career documents, saved learning records, reviews, and support requests.
- Membership and technical records: subscription status, payment references, legal acknowledgments, notification preferences, delivery records, browser/device information, usage activity, and diagnostic or error logs.
We receive information directly from you and from employers, referees, sign-in providers, payment processors, and other providers involved in delivering the services. Share another person's details only when you have permission or another appropriate basis to do so.
02
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and memberships; help members describe their experience and work preferences; assess job fit; review readiness; coordinate introductions, applications, interviews, and placements; provide career tools; respond to support requests; and maintain records of these activities.
- We also use information to deliver notifications, manage email preferences, understand service usage, investigate failures, protect accounts, prevent misuse, and meet recordkeeping or legal obligations.
- MWM staff may record assessments, concerns, follow-up tasks, and employer feedback as part of recruiting. These operational records are separate from your public profile.
03
Public profiles and employer sharing
Public profile visibility and an MWM-approved employer introduction are different forms of sharing. A profile marked public may be accessible to people beyond a specific employer. Review what you place in your profile, biography, and linked documents before making it public.
- Public professional information may include your name, photo, professional summary, skills, experience, general location, links, and verification information, depending on the profile fields and visibility settings.
- When you apply or participate in an employer introduction, MWM may share relevant professional information and application materials for that opportunity. Résumés and documents you provide may themselves contain contact or personal information.
- MWM's candidate-review links show selected professional information for an approved slate. They exclude internal MWM notes, raw intake answers, internal match scores, and candidate contact fields. Employers can record interest, feedback, and interview requests.
- Candidate-review links work without an employer login. Anyone who receives a valid link may be able to open it while it remains active. Expiring or revoking a link prevents future access through that link; it cannot remove information a recipient already saved.
- Employers handle information they receive under their own policies and obligations. Contact MWM if you want to discuss a submission, restrict future sharing, or correct candidate information.
Turning off public visibility does not automatically withdraw an application or remove copies previously shared. Contact us about those requests.
04
AI tools and matching recommendations
Career coaching, résumé and cover-letter assistance, and interview practice may use AI services. Relevant prompts, answers, uploaded material, and profile or job context may be processed by service providers to generate the feature you use. Some conversations, drafts, and feedback are saved to your account.
Job matching uses recorded skills, work-history information, role preferences, work arrangements, hours, and compensation information to estimate fit. Scores can affect which opportunities or candidates are surfaced. Missing or outdated information can affect results.
A match score is not a hiring decision, guarantee, or verification of a qualification. MWM and employers review candidates, and employers make hiring decisions. You can update your information or ask MWM to review a recommendation.
Please avoid entering Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical records, or confidential information about other people into career tools. Review generated content before using or sharing it.
05
Service providers and other disclosures
We use providers to host and operate the platform, authenticate accounts, store records and files, process payments, generate AI-assisted output, deliver communications, and support diagnostics. These include Base44 for platform services, Stripe for paid-membership payments, and Google when you choose Google sign-in. Providers may process information needed to perform those functions.
Payment-card details are entered through the payment provider's checkout. MWM uses subscription and payment references to manage access and support billing; the membership interface does not require you to send full card details to MWM.
We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, investigate misuse, protect rights or safety, or support a business transfer such as a merger or sale, subject to applicable requirements.
We do not sell personal information for money. Recruiting-related sharing and processing by service providers are described in this policy. Contact us with questions about a particular disclosure.
External employer sites, linked resources, and other third-party services have their own privacy policies. Information may be processed in locations where our providers operate, which may differ from where you live.
07
Emails and notifications
We send account, billing, support, recruiting, job-alert, and other member communications. Communication records can include the recipient, message content, send time, and delivery or failure information provided by the delivery service.
Use the unsubscribe option in applicable emails or your account's notification settings to manage non-essential communications. You may also contact us for help. Essential account, security, billing, or requested-service messages may still be sent.
Changing email preferences does not cancel a paid membership. Manage renewal separately in Settings under Billing.
08
Access, corrections, and deletion requests
You can edit your profile and account preferences in the app. Settings also provides an export of selected account records. That download is not necessarily a complete copy of every record MWM holds; contact us if you need additional information.
- To request account deletion, use the deletion-request option in Settings or email koneal@modernworkingmoms.com. Submitting a request starts a review; it does not immediately erase the account.
- If you want paid billing to stop, also use Cancel Membership in Settings under Billing and check the confirmation. A deletion request is not confirmation that a subscription has been canceled.
- Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of information, and to object to or limit certain processing. You may also have rights concerning particular forms of sharing or automated processing.
- Contact us to exercise a right, ask about an unresolved request, or request review of our response. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope before acting. Please do not email passwords, full card numbers, or identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate verification method.
Some requests may be limited by applicable law, records we must retain, or other people's rights. We will explain applicable limitations when responding.
09
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the services, manage recruiting relationships and subscriptions, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by the type of record and its purpose.
Account closure may not remove records needed for payment, legal, security, or dispute-related purposes. Copies may remain in backups or with recipients who previously received them, subject to their own retention practices.
We use access controls and other administrative and technical measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or accidental disclosure.
10
Children's information
MWM's services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 for their use of the services. Please keep children's identifying details out of public profiles, uploaded documents, and AI prompts. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review it.
11
Updates to this notice
We may revise this notice as our services or practices change. The version and last-updated date identify this edition. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes. Updating this page does not by itself authorize a new use of information collected under an earlier notice.
